After receiving an activation code, please follow the steps below:
Remember, your activation code shouldn't be disclosed to anybody else, including anyone who telephones and claims to be from the bank.
Enter your Customer ID and User ID and press 'Continue'
You'll now be prompted to enter your 10-digit activation code.* Enter the first five digits in the first box and the last five digits in the second.
You'll be asked to scan a QR code with your smartcard reader. When prompted to do this, follow the onscreen instructions. (You can find support on scanning QR codes in our guide.)
Enter and confirm a new PIN (used for additional Bankline services - this is not your smartcard PIN) and password, then select 'Confirm'
That's it. Just be sure to remember your password, but don't write it down or share it with anyone.
*If you're not prompted to enter your activation code here, you may have entered your Customer and User ID incorrectly, or you may not have logged in to Bankline using the link in step 1.
